A quick note, friends, to welcome a few new subscribers –
<< “WELCOME!!!” >>
– and to follow up on my post from earlier this week:
I am beyond excited about my first ever appearance as a guest on a podcast, and so very, very pleased that it gets to be the absolutely weird and wonderful LuxOccult Podcast! Luxa is a great host, a great listener, a great asker of questions, and an all around erudite, empathetic, curious, and welcoming person. She is also one hell of an editor! LuxOccult goes beyond the typical conversation format of many podcasts, to really become a hyper-collage periodical of epic proportions. Herein we talk Hekate, Crowley, solar devotions, the Greek Magical Papyri, Planetary Hours, Temple of Psychic Youth, and much more. This opportunity to speak with her about my magical path and spiritual outlook really gave me an opportunity to examine my own motivations and experiences, and I hope you will give it a listen!
I’m linking here to the episode on Luxa’s Youtube channel, but you can also check it out on Apple, Spotify, or I imagine anywhere else you might go for your talk radio weirdness. Enjoy!
Jason Triefenbach is an artist, writer, and non-denominational minister with a garden and a lifelong interest in lurking around the Occult/ Paranormal shelves in bookstores worldwide. As Sun Duel they record and sometimes perform music with a variety of friends and loved ones. Jason has been self-publishing zines and pamphlets since the early 1990s, beginning with a sloppy collage broadsheet Licking the Toe Jam, and culminating thus far in the limited edition perfect-bound paperback Barbarous Tongues: a Journal of Arts and Esoterica.
